Calibre is delighted that The Blade in Reading has honoured our hardworking engineer, Mark Nanney, by naming their new Peregrine Falcon chicks after him!
Mark’s remarkable dedication, from building the very bird box that now houses these magnificent falcons to ensuring the site stays smoothly operational has truly made a difference.
The chicks Mark, Nanney, and Orla represent a heartfelt tribute to both Mark’s contribution and his family, especially celebrating the arrival of his granddaughter, Orla, born just a few weeks ago.
It’s inspiring to see his efforts recognised in such a unique and meaningful way. We’re all looking forward to following these chicks as they spread their wings.
