Calibre Building Services has become part of WPS – a market leading property services group – today.
This positive move will see Calibre Building Services join WPS, owned by the Wates Family – a household name in construction and property with a 129-year legacy of building, developing and maintaining homes and workplaces.
Providing FM services to thousands of workplaces and looking after more than half a million social homes nationally, WPS has a strong legacy in property services and is keen to expand its FM operations by bringing Calibre on board.
“We’re delighted to welcome Calibre on board as we continue to expand our national footprint, alongside creating strategic agility in what we can offer to our managing agent customers,” said Jack Prady, Managing Director – WPS Facilities Management. “As a trusted FM partner to building managers, they are an ideal fit. We are looking forward to collaborating along our growth journey to do more of what we are both focused on together – delivering the very best for our customers and maintaining places where their building users can thrive.”
Steve Welch, Co-Managing Director at CBS said: “We are excited to take the business forward with WPS and nurture the strong relationships we have built across our valued client base with a team that, like us, is purpose-led, shares our values and is committed to working collaboratively.”
Matt Mabey, Co-Managing Director for CBS, added: “The most important thing for us is to preserve the tailored customer care and meticulous delivery that makes Calibre trusted. So, we’re pleased to work with WPS to shape that, while benefitting from their wider backing and expertise to support the business to keep growing for our fantastic teams and customers for years to come.”
Calibre Building Services will continue to trade under its own name as part of WPS, remaining focused on high-quality service delivery for its clients.
